It is created more symbiotically than that.

Classifying these paintings separate from the music and the performance is very difficult because it is so connected to that "live" aspect. We call it Live Painting with Live Music.

But to get back to your question of classification of this type of painting. Tali and I actually just were talking about this yesterday. Live Action Painting with Live Music is so clunky, it does not have to-the-pointness that say, Abstract Expressionism does. If I were to have to say right now, I might say Abstract Impressionism. or even Abstract Post Impressionism or better yet, Post Abstract Impressionism...Tali Farchi and Royce Deanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11064921997443414609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5971402605532643135.post-51208738798449418372010-01-06T00:01:12.666-08:002010-01-06T00:01:12.666-08:00Thanks Royce to that warm and detailed story of my...Thanks Royce to that warm and detailed story of my show in Palet last Sunday.

.. As someone told me about this sort of art, "it is a "Journey" ... and as we already know that the Journey not the destination is what count. but..but.. in this case the "destination" (the art work in the end of a show) can be valued and discus as well.. the facts will show how many painting were sold after this show and all the others.
That journey for me is my most pure sort of expression.from my gut.from my instincts.
i give everything i can give in that one hour of show. and i will do it again and again. that what i do.

one small correction royce, my email address is anipo12@gmail.com (not as you wrote)
Thanks again.. and i hope we can discuss that subject more and more..:-)
Thanks again
XXX
TaliArt is my passion and my profession..https://www.blogger.com/profile/13438039319784862828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5971402605532643135.post-22225802243381040292010-01-05T21:21:26.775-08:002010-01-05T21:21:26.775-08:00Aside from the live collaborative performance, I&#...Aside from the live collaborative performance, I'm wondering how you classify the paintings themselves. Is it simply abstract art, or is it a genre of its own: musically inspired art? While the paintings can stand on their own, the story behind the art -- Mo(ve)ment performance -- adds to significance. I wonder if the paintings should be sold with a CD of the improv, so they can be appreciated in the context they were created.Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15991144956435820182noreply@blogger.com
